Hello Goalies,

I won’t be at intro tonight as I am travelling for a work conference. I wasn’t able to find any backup coaches so you will be on your own for tonight. For those of you who are rotating between skating out and goalie for these, tonight would be a good night to skate out. For those of you who are goalie only, there will still be ice open. I’ve been told that the intermediate group will be focusing on skating for the first half of the session but will have ample use for goalies in the second half. If you would prefer, you can always set up a net and work on your crease movements/slides by yourself.

We have a lot of new skaters who are using JAHA’s loaner gear this season. we’re very low on everything, but especially sticks, bags, shin pads and helmets. There will be a bin in the lobby today (Sunday, Jan 15) if you would like to donate old gear to new skaters. all donations will get used and are greatly appreciated.

Hello Intro Players!

Because of the way our registration program works, it is not clear who signed up as a goalie and who signed up as a skater! As the goalie coach it would be very helpful to know who the goalies I will be working with are so I can design skill appropriate drills for everyone (and possibly seek out help if I have 4-5 goalies like I have in the past). To do this, if you could just shoot a message to my profile (John Dimond – Coach) under the roster, that would be great.
