JAHA has opened registration for the Fall 2025 season! There are some tweaks to the registration process this season. 

Most relevant is that we have space for 25 teams this season. This is fewer teams than we had in Winter 2025. For this reason, we are starting registration with space for four teams (52 skaters, 4 goalies) in each tier. We will juggle around space based on registration numbers after August 10. The change from prior seasons is this - if you want to have a guaranteed spot to skate, sign up as soon as possible. We can no longer guarantee spots through to August 10. If registration is full, please get on the waitlist. We will be able to add people from the waitlist for at least one, and possibly multiple, tiers. 

Another change is a $5 increase in registration fees for skaters, who will now pay $245 instead of $240. The fee increase allows us to continue providing support to new skaters and to cover anticipated increases in administrative costs.

The season will begin on Tuesday, Sept 2 and the playoffs will conclude Sunday, Nov 23. Games will be held Mon-Fri and Sundays. 

At one point this summer we were missing ~40  jerseys. (Thank you to everyone we contacted who has since returned one) Jerseys are expensive and it is difficult to run a league without them. While we have not instituted any new processes/penalties right now, we are discussing things like charging a  jersey deposit each season. We would rather not do this and will not have to if everyone returns their jerseys at the end of each season. 

Reminder - you can only sign up as a skater for one of A, B, C or D tiers. If tier reps think you are not in the correct tier, you may be asked to either play in a different tier or accept a refund. You may sign up for a second tier in Women’s or 35+. Intro to Hockey and D tier may give priority to brand new players and will strive to ensure skaters are in the most appropriate tier.
