Hello JAHA,

During the last dump of snow, we got a lot of questions about whether games would b e canceled or not and I wanted to send out a message ahead of the incoming snow dump to clarify JAHA’s current policy regarding whether or not games will occur.

Tu summarize, as long as the rink remains open and JHO is able to provide the minimum number of officials to have a game, the game will happen. We have an incredibly full season and there are very few ice times available to reschedule any games, and as such as long as the rink is still remaining open and we are able to get officials from JHO, games will happen as scheduled. Players should make their own determination about whether it is safe for them to travel to the rink or not given the road conditions during their drive.

In the event that one of these two variables changes, we will alert all affected teams through TeamPages/email as quickly as we can.

Hello All!

We’re heading into our season with easily the highest number of teams we’ve had in a very long time! However, because of this, we are finding ourselves short goalies in a few tiers. We are looking for goalies in the following tiers:

B tier – 1 goalie, possibly.
C tier – 1 goalie
Women’s tier – 1 goalie

If you’ve played in net before, or are already signed up and looking for some extra net time, please reach out to us at juneauadulthockey@gmail.com as soon as possible.

The draft schedule for each tier has been uploaded and tier reps are in the process of uploading teams. You should be receiving an email with your invite shortly if you haven’t already.

Please note that if you didn’t get an invite and think you should have, sign into your Teampages account, click the mail icon at the top and then select “Notifications”. Teampages doesn’t always send out emails for some reason and you may have one there waiting for you.
