JAHA is sponsoring a goalie clinic on February 10th in the afternoon, with a one hour ice time starting at 2:45pm. All the planning is still in the works, but what we would like to do is to have people who have an interest in playing goalie sometime out to the rink to give it a shot! We'll try to get sets of goalie gear, line up volunteers to help out with gear and give quick pointers prior to stepping out onto the ice. Once we're out there we'll explain some of the basics of movement, using position to cut down on the shooter's chances of scoring, basic rules, and get some shot practice.

Sign up space will be limited by the amount of goalie gear we're able to line up prior to the session. Although the session will be open for all, preference will be given to JAHA members who are beginners. Please RSVP and express your interest as soon as you can so we can get a feel on the number of people that will be attending.

If you are already a goalie, please consider loaning some gear to help us out! JAHA does have a couple sets of gear, but we'll obviously need more to satisfy demand.
