Haines Junction Old Timers Tournament
Friday, February 1 (evening) through Sunday, February 3 (morning).
4 games minimum, playing against Whitehorse, Petersburg, Faro, Dawson, Haines Junction, Watson Lake, Carmacks and others.
Age requirement: 35 and older
Ferry departure: Wed, Jan 30 (morning)
Ferry return: Monday Feb 4 (evening)
Ferry schedule will allow us to play outdoor exhibition games under the lights in Atlin, Marsh Lake and/or Mount Lorne prior to tournament in HJ. Exhibition games typically followed by banquet hosted by home team. Get back to the roots of the game by playing under the northern lights.
If interested in playing please contact me ASAP to set up a team. This is a popular tourney with an 8 team limit. Juneau has sent at least one team every year for the past 20 years.
Last year the Juneau team was treated to a day long snowmobiling trip through Kluane due to the Monday ferry departure.
