Now is a great time to prepare for our next hockey season, we need everyone's assistance in getting our jersey's back to JAHA!

It would be nice if the sweaters/jerseys are clean but collecting them is the most important thing. Please have them in the JAHA Locker at the rink as soon as you can. Joe Geldof has volunteered to pick them up and clean them. This off season, we will be putting logos and numbers on all JAHA sweaters and storing them in uniform tubs for distribution next season

JAHA Banquet
April 17, 2010 Saturday night
4:00 pm to 10:00 pm
At the JAHC or the old Armory building across the parking lot from Centennial Hall
This year's banquet will be a potluck together with the King Salmon Tourney joining us
for a great evening. Assignments for each Tier and Team are as follows. The
beginning of the evening will start with a membership meeting, Association business
may include changes to by-laws, budget, and election of officers and great
opportunity to get their while the refreshments are still fresh!

Tier A
Champions- main dish
All other teams - side dish, appetizers, pasta, potato, rice

Tier B
Champions - main dish
All other teams - side dish, appetizers, salads, veggies

Tier C
All Teams - main dish

Tier D
Champions - main dish
All other teams - non alcoholic beverages, juices, soda, water

Womens
Champions - main dish
All other teams - dessert

Even though this season still has a bit to go it isn't too early to think about next year.
Turcotte Stickhandling school will have both youth and adult classes next September 11th - 13th .
We suggest you register early .

I was looking at the stats of Tier C Team 1 when I noticed that a certain someone with my same last name has 31 minutes of penalties which is over 50% of the entire team's. At first I thought this was some sort of glitch in the system and it should have been 3 minutes or maybe 13 at the most. Wow!

I admire the strategy behind spending most of the games in the penalty box. I am not sure what the entry fee is for joining the league, but it must be less than a season ticket in the front row.
